Noctilucent cloud above wave cloud.

There had been a lot of wave cloud yesterday and this was the remenants of it. It was all very light with gaps between clouds. I saw the shining cloud in the lower middle of the sky and went out to check if it was a noctilucent. I checked it was not an aurora picture (we sometimes see the aurora as white), but very low aurora activity last night.
When I looked at the cloud, I could see it was lighting up the tops of the clouds beneath it, so took the picture. As you can see, it was also backlighting many of the lower clouds so must have been quite widespread. Direction NNW.

None - but what I could see was not as dramatic as this. See section below. As in photographing aurora, the phone was more sensitive.
