WOW!!!

After chasing the northern lights to Iceland and Finland and coming up with nothing, I couldn't believe the display on the 10th of May in my own back yard. It was certainly worth the wait and was totally amazed at the show and felt very honoured to have seen the best show for years. My only regret was that my daughter Alexandra whose No1 on her bucket list is to see the lights slept through them, needless to say she was absolutely gutted to have missed them but I'm sure they'll be back soon. The photo also has the space station travelling from the top to bottom which was an unexpected bonus.
