Grumpy Snapping Turtle

Nothing like running into a grumpy looking Common Snapping Turtle while on a hike. It could be a little intimidating seeing that they are nocturnal & spend most of their time in the water. When out of the water, the snapping turtle can be aggressive because they usually come on land during nesting season.
