Getting Ready for a Night Out

I usually photograph the Eastern Screech Owl during daylight, sleeping & roosting in the hole of a tree. It was great capturing a red morph Screech awake, just coming out of a large hole and sitting in the shadows late in the day. They roost during the day, becoming active at dusk.
