Ponderosa Pine cone flowers

While out hiking, I noticed these ponderosa pine cone flowers on a low-hanging branch. I looked up, and saw 3 or 4 cone flowers on the end of every branch! These will take two years to mature.
Canon 5D Mark IV, 300 mm lens with 1.4 extender.
