Above the Fog

I woke up early to capture the rare meeting of the moon, Saturn, and Mars, only to find that a low bank of fog completely hid Mars. The moon, however, was not only visible, but illuminated by the reflection of the sun off the earth, otherwise known as "earthshine." Saturn is one of the brighter "stars" to the left of the moon.
