Forest Gump -

In the various mountainous regions of Himachal Pradesh, whether we believe in the divine presence in the peculiarly beautiful temples scattered atop the hills or not, the grandeur of those mountains remains unchanged. Especially to those living in cities, the dark sky looming overhead seems enviously void of stars. I don't consider myself fortunate to be able to work in such places of employment. And I don't deny that when the whole country is burning in extreme turmoil, I am capturing all the global agony, forgetting it all, wearing a sweater jacket, capturing the light of a thousand stars in the camera.

As the light of a thousand stars traverses thousands of light-years to reach, it brings with it all the disturbances, leaving behind a trace of shimmering sparkle. This is the story behind my latest astrophotograph capturing the Milky Way against the backdrop of the sky over DPF Janitri Forest's rest house.
