Wow, what a memorable event for anyone that had the opportunity to experience this astronomical miracle. During the totality phase, time seemed to stand still, to hold its breath. The wind stopped blowing, the air temperature dropped, and I could hear coyotes barking/howling in the distance. The high clouds contributed to a lovely warm glow on the horizon - as if it was sunrise or sunset. And if you look closely, you can see planets Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Mars, and three stars that I can't identify. Then, after three minutes, POOF! It was over. I can't wait to see the next one. I've always wanted to visit Spain!

Shadow, highlight, and vibrance adjustments in Adobe Camera Raw; noise reduction using Topaz Denoise software; black brush tool in photoshop to more accurately represent the moon during totality; white brush tool overlay of Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars, and three unidentified stars.
