I had been testing my settings earlier in the day. I decided to try some more in the afternoon, and this was my first capture. The very next frame shows what I believe is just the sunspots after the flair.
Canon 5D Mark IV, Sigma 150-600 @ 600mm, MeFOTO carbon traveler tripod, and Celestron ECLIPSMART Solar Filter.
