This is the "Blue Mustang" horse sculpture that sits/stands near Denver International Airport...affectionately known as "Blucifer" due to the piercing red LED eyes...I wanted to try to capture a full moon behind its head and because of the amount of signage along the road and other obstructions visibility and sightlines are limited...last night I "got lucky" as the full moon rose there were some high cirrus clouds that helped filter the intensity of the moon for this image and then shortly afterwards the moon rose and was obfuscated by heavier cloud cover.
Canon R5
Canon 100-400 EF L IS II + 2x Teleconverter + EF to RF adapter
Manfrotto tripod + Wimberly gimbal
No filters
This is a single image...no compositing so the moon was a bit brighter than I wanted and the foreground was a bit darker than I wanted so I reduced the brighness of the moon and increased the brighness of the foreground...a bit of sharpening and denoise and about a 50% crop to the final image.
