Old reliable M42 and Running Man. Light pollution in my area is increasingly atrocious, but I can still easily find M42 without the need for a GOTO mount. I modified a vintage Celestar 8 mount to hold the camera and lens, track M42 and maintain relatively round stars. Astropheric said both nights would be good for imaging, and they were.

Canon 6D Mk2 with Canon 75-300mm EF mount and a homemade combination dew-light pollution shield. I also position a patio umbrella to block an LED street light that would otherwise shine directly into my camera lens.

370 light frames and twelve dark frames taken over two nights (Dec 7th and Nov 13th). Almost all (95%) were 300mm F/5.6, 20 seconds, ISO 1600. Sequator, then GIMP. Sequator at 25% light pollution reduction helps a lot in post processing.
