When I found out Uranus was at opposition I figured I would give it a try. I was able to capture it in an eyepiece but had a difficult time finding it with my camera. It took me about an hour but I finally found it and was thrilled to capture this planet that is seventh planet from the Sun. "Most of the planet is made of water, ammonia, and methane in a supercritical phase of matter, which in astronomy is called 'ice' or volatiles. The ice giant is surrounded by 13 faint rings and 27 small moons as it rotates at a nearly 90-degree angle from the plane of its orbit. This unique tilt makes Uranus appear to spin sideways, orbiting the Sun like a rolling ball."

Edited in a program called PIPP to stabilize the video then processed in AutoStakkert to stack the images and Registax for wave lengths. I then bring it in to Lightroom to clean up some of the noise.
