A fair day after the rainstorms is a good time to walk the nature trail. There were no waterfowls to take pictures of, but I'm used to that. One cannot predict when they will be around.
What drew me to this scene were the reflections on the water. The tree trunk reflections look powerful at a distance, and even more so when I walk a little closer. The sun was overhead backlighting the left side of the frame. On the right is a portion of the Persian ivy draping and trailing a huge tree trunk.
