Lots of clouds made viewing intermittent from the motel parking lot where about two dozen folks waited in lawn chairs with fingers crossed and eclipse glasses trained on the variable bright spot. Then during the crucial ten minutes, a huge patch of blue moved into position! So I got to work hoping my phone could focus through the eyepiece well enough to get a decent image. Seat-of-the-pants astrophotography, better lucky than good!
Moto G Stylus camera "kissing" the orthoscopic eyepiece of my Celestron 8 with solar aperture filter.
None, just what the phone could do. I was pleasantly surprised! (Not easy to get it lined up on the eyepiece without excessive chromatic effects from lenses, but managed to get a few shots)
