A very cloudy morning, almost zero chance to see any blue sky, let along Sun. I had the camera on the tripod, filter in place. My dear wife alerted me to maybe she was seeing some direct sunlight, and we went outside. It was perfectly clear right where the Sun was, and I happily clicked the shutter a few times. Way too easy.
