I captured this image of the waning gibbous Moon just after midnight on October 4. This is one of my favorite phases of the Moon because of the striking contrast between the heavily cratered southern highlands and the relatively smooth maria to the north.
ZWO ASI533MC camera, Celestron XLT150 f/5 reflector, SkyWatcher EQ6R mount
