It's still astronomical twilight, the sun having set a little over an hour. It's almost the new moon, in fact the thinnest moon had set, invisible in the sun's glare. The evening sky is clear, a rare occurrence at the Oregon coast, and I felt gladly compelled to take a few pictures of the Milky Way.
There are a few fishing vessels lighting up the ocean horizon. They use LED lights though some still use the power hungry metal-halide and sodium-vapor lights.

Nikon D850. 24mm, 13s, f/2.8, ISO 4000, tripod, 2s delay.
