Unfortunately, here on the west coast, the occultation of Antares by the moon happened in daylight. More unfortunately, here in Cambria I was battling the twin challenges of daylight and clouds. But I like a good challenge, so I decided to try to get it anyway. Here's one of Antares just before it disappeared, bottom of frame at about 6:30 on the "dial" of the moon. Then another one of it reappearing on the right, at about 4:30 on the "dial," 45 minutes or so later.

I brightened Antares and sharpened the moon in Photoshop, and I adjusted the lighting to help the star show up.
