There is a prevailing haze on the oceanfront throughout the day on to the night as the moon sets on the horizon. This is eve of the quarter moon, and the eve of the occlusion when the moon hides Antares, the brightest star of and the heart of the Scorpius constellation. The forecast is cloudy so the occlusion is not visible in this area, still glad to have taken this photo the day before the occlusion..
