Working in the remote corners of India is a unique privilege, and experiencing the untouched natural beauty of these areas is akin to encountering a beautiful picture. Such opportunities are rare, just as in my case. Finding a clear sky free from clouds and moonlight, creating a space free of light pollution, and using suitable equipment is not an everyday occurrence. Amidst these challenges, capturing the night sky in photographs is a feat that requires patience, dedication, and the right techniques.
In my astro photography journey, "Way to Heaven – Milky Way at Baganshali Church Ground," I aimed to present the stunning beauty of the night sky as I witnessed it. The location, Baganshali Church in Assam, provided a canvas of darkness and stillness, allowing the Milky Way to shine brightly. The photograph is a result of blending and processing multiple stacked images from a Redmi Note 10 Pro Max smartphone, without the aid of tracking equipment.
In conclusion, "Way to Heaven – Milky Way at Baganshali Church Ground" encapsulates the beauty of the cosmos against the backdrop of an unspoiled landscape. The photograph is a reminder that capturing the night sky's wonders requires both skill and a deep connection to the universe. As I present this image, I invite you to contemplate the convergence of art, science, and the splendor of the cosmos.
