This morning's adventure was a hike around the fishing ponds near my home to capture some dragonflies with my camera. The breeze was quite brisk above 10 knots making the photography session a bit more challenging. The dragonflies were plentiful however the landing perches were in constant motion from the wind. Of the 63 images only 6 were keepers. I noted 7 different species including one damselfly species. This one is a male Meadowhawk also called a Darter. The females are lighter colored.
