I have been trying for 4 days and it has either been too cloudy, or the wildfires would darken the atmosphere. I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for the clouds to hopefully leave and I got this little time window of a clear shot with the clouds above the city. Chicago is estimated to be 50 miles from my location at Indiana Dunes!
