The North America Nebula ... NGC 7000
This nebula is located in the sky within the asterism of the Summer Triangle and quite close to one of its stars, Deneb.
I took this image on the night of July 26 and the morning of July 27. I used two separate images, one being the top and the other being the bottom. I then joined them together to get this enlarged view. The total integration time of the image is 4hr 35mn. Besides the nebula looking very much like North and Central America, to the right is the Pelican Nebula.
The telescope was the Orion ED80 Triplet ...
