This is a small Juniper Grove just off the Pony Express Trail where I set up my cameras for Milky Way astrophotography. Venus is visible very near the center. The pack of Coyotes howling are off to the right...perhaps half a mile or so to the north of me. Sometimes I will join in the howling with them if there is a natural geographic barrier between us. This time I withheld because it was fairly flat and I'm sure they could have sneaked up on me easily. Also, there was a Coyote skeleton underneath the Juniper on the right. Sooo...yeah...no talking with the wild canines this time.
