This small pink beauty is a Nootka rose, a wild rose. The flower in the image is about 2 inches or 5.08 centimeters in diameter, with a nice fragrance. These days it seems that I see them blooming here and there.
This plant is native to Western North America and grows in coastal areas from Alaska to California west to the Cascades and east to the Rocky Mountains.
