Last night, I headed to a favorite dark spot in Index, Washington on the Skykomish River. A few fellow photographers joined me. The plan was to set up my Celestron EdgeHD 9.25" to image the Cat's Eye Nebula while waiting for the Milky Way, but my telescope kept disconnecting so I gave up. Meanwhile, the Milky Way made its appearance.
