Three weeks after finding this Osprey nest, I decided to check on the babies. I was happy to find the family doing well. Both of the young were in the nest, one laying low. Shortly after hatching with blue eyes, their eyes turn a reddish orange. Eventually turning a yellow orange until maturity, when the eyes are a bright yellow.
