At twilight the eagle landed on top of The Rock to eat his dinner. The sides and the base of this huge rock is teeming with other seabirds - seagulls, common murres, cormorants, ravens, a few visiting pelicans and black oystercatchers. The seagulls flew around the eagle protesting, as he is a very much unwanted predator. The eagle duckedand avoided the seagulls circling around him. I took over a dozen pictures of the eagle. It's now getting dark, the wind is blowing strong. The last I looked the eagle is still on top of The Rock, and only a few seagulls continue to protest around him.
