I have been realizing lately that I often find my favorite captured moment from a photo adventure to be the final one of the night, and this night was no exception. This image was captured at 3am, a half hour after a 56% moon rose out of the smoky haze to gentle illuminate the only tent on this 5660' mountaintop along the Cherohala Skyway.. was strange to be the only one at this popular location on a beautiful Friday night but glad I made the trip
