Mars in the Beehive Cluster. Conditions for imaging were less than ideal with the full moon and a fog bank off the ocean that kept rising until Venus was obscured. I still managed to get in 15 minutes of imaging before I lost the cluster. The Beehive Cluster is one of my favorite deep sky objects and having Mars photobomb it was icing on the cake.
Celestron Evolution Mount, Williams-Optics 81mm refractor telescope, Canon EOS Ra camera.
15 light frames and 10 dark frames were stacked in Affinity Photo. Brightness and tone adjustment was done in Photoshop.
