Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky glacial cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge near Trumansburg, NYS Finger Lakes region. It is the highest single-drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains. Taughannock Falls 215-foot drop is 33 feet taller than Niagara Falls.
