The smoke from the wildfire in Alberta, Canada allows me to capture the sun without filter. What I found out since I started taking photos are the spots. This image was just taken with the canon 800mm lens and EOS Canon 1D MII camera. I cropped a little. My exposure started with the shutter of 1/5000, aperture of f/11, and ISO of 100 then I adjusted the shutter as the sun drifted to the horizon.
