This male Bald Eagle, Mr. Peebles, was relaxing on a tree not far from the nest. With his mate and an eaglet in the nest, he was in protective mode. There was a Common Raven not too far away, that was very vocal. The eagle jumped suddenly from the tree & flew right over me, eyes on the raven. It's a thrill to hear the whooshing sound when they are so close!
