I have a large, dead chinaberry tree in my backyard that the local carpenter bee population has turned into an apartment complex. There are a few holes low enough that I could set up my camera with a motion trigger and catch the comings and goings. The Sonoran Desert is in bloom and the local native pollinators are taking advantage of the bounty. She will pack in pollen with her eggs to give her brood a meal when they hatch.
