This image was taken from the balcony of the Viking Venus cruise ship the evening after crossing north of the Artic Circle on March 23, 2023. This evening gave me my first ever view of the Northern Lights and the timing could not have been more perfect. Because this is taken from a moving boat the ISO was pushed to permit relatively short exposures.

Nikon D750 + 14mm f/2.8 lens. ISO2500, 1 1/3 sec exposure.
