Happy Earth day from one of my favorite places in Volusia County, The Fairchild Oak!
The Fairchild Oak is the centerpiece of Bulow Creek State park in Ormond Beach. The giant beauty is over 78ft tall and has a trunk that measurs over 8ft in diameter! It’s said to be over 400 years old and has withstood many natural disasters.
