The approximately 23 hour old Moon setting over the Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge in S/W Kern County there were high thin
clouds and numerous con trails all day but luckily things started to clear as sunset approached I needed binoculars to locate the thin
crescent once located I worked quickly and got 20 exposures this one showed the most detail.
