Majestic Osprey perched over the Tomoka River l with his lunch. These large carnivorous birds hold the nicknames of “Sea Hawk” and “River hawk” because they live by the water and their diet consists of 99% fish.

These photos are a part of an ongoing series titled “The Loop.” This series is dedicated to highlighting the FL Wildlife Corridor in Volusia and spreading awareness to the fact that nearly half of the wild corridor in our county isn’t in conservation currently. My goal is to use my photography of the lands and the critters therein to advocate for further conservation of these precious lands.
