The local Eastern Screech-owl couple that I formerly photographed lost their trees to storms, so I haven't seen them & don't know where they relocated. So I was thrilled to find this one, about an hour's drive away, right on a walking path. The male & female stay in separate trees until mating season. Maybe, with a little luck, I will find the mate.
