As you can see, Venus shows it’s phase more clearly and Jupiter reveals its small, but rather large disk in the telescope that is currently almost 3 times bigger than Venus because Jupiter is 33” and Venus is 12”.
I used my Celestron NexStar 8SE and my iPhone to take a beautiful picture of this stunning conjunction.
I used some apps such as Lightroom to edite my pictures and I actually ended up with a really great photo of Venus and Jupiter. You can see the disk of Jupiter and the phase of Venus.
