I understand you like to receive photos within the past couple of days; however, I just found out about this community today and figured I'd share this beautiful phenomenon that I was able to capture on my flight from Florida to Wisconsin. After doing some research, I found that this is commonly referred to as 'Pilot's Glory' or 'Pilot's Halo.' From what I understand, this is caused by a process called wave tunneling which is essentially light rays from the sun inducing electromagnetic waves inside of microscopic water droplets suspended in the atmosphere and causing them to internally reflect until they escape from the droplet and create the 360 rainbow that can be seen in the picture. If you look close enough, you can even see that there are two rainbows surrounding the shadow.
