Normally, winter skies here in South Limburg are very cloudy, but for one night, it was crisp, cold, crystal clear, even until after the 1st quarter moon set around 2am.
Comet c2022 e3 (ztf) was passing just north of the little dipper, and so it was easy to find and photograph with a Canon EOS 1300D. Can't wait to see if it gets even more defined by February 1st. The tail is just visible, pointing upwards and to the left, towards 11 - 11:30 on the clockface. Thank you to Earthsky for all your great services to us.

Canon EOS 1300D
ISO-6400, 30 sec open shutter, f/8, 250mm focal length

Used photo editing software minimally, to reduce brightness, increase contrast, saturate color.
