I was standing on an embankment overlooking the Hudson River. Across the river from me is a bald eagles nest that I wanted to check on. It was quiet at the moment, but when I turned around one of the eagles was sitting on a tree just to my side. I got a few shots of it sitting, then it flew off. It never gets old! Unfortunately it was a drab day.
