This is possibly the same Sharp-Shinned Hawk which has been to my feeders previously. It seems to have set up shop nearby and hunts here daily now. This afternoon it was sitting in the tree behind the main trunk while I refilled the feeders. As soon as I stepped forward into its view it flew off. This photo was from the day before...so I've seen it daily since the weekend. I feel for its prey being caught while attracted to my backyard however the birds seem to accept its presence since they keep returning to eat shortly after each Hawk attack.
