It was a cold clear morning, perfect for capturing the lunar eclipse. Tracking the progress of the eclipse, I noticed I was also tracking the moon's movement as it lowered in the sky towards moonset. With the lack of any significant foreground to add depth to the photo, I decided to plan a multiple exposure to add a little depth with only the moon.
Canon R-6, 300mm lens, f/9, 2 sec exposure
Three images taken at 2 minute intervals and merged in Photoshop.
