Early flowering Flamboyant Tree.
This combined landscape and close-up view of a flowering Flamboyant tree was prepared from two photographs taken on an early morning walk in Mutare on Saturday 5th November. Overcast conditions and lack of sunshine seemed to create optimum contrast between light grey sky and the vivid scarlet flowers on an early flowering tree in Murambi suburb.
