Using my dobsonian reflecting telescope as a 'lens' for my Canon XS, I took snapshots of the Moon this morning. Combined three of the photos in panorama mode in Photoshop Elements. The craters along the dark edge where the Sun was setting on the Moon were even visible in binoculars. A slightly enhanced view of the craters along the edge is a my blog site.
Canon XS camera viewing through a 200mm dobsonian reflecting telescope ('prime focus'). 1/160 second exposure at ISO-200.
Three photos combined in Photoshop Elements, some lighting enhancement to bring out the craters along the edge.
