I wanted a high-resolution photo of the full moon. At a focal length of 2350mm, I was able to just record a bit more than a quarter moon. I made four recordings and processed the frames to stack. To my chagrin, I accidentally adjusted the exposure and produced incompatible quarters. I decided to roll with it and make a Frankenmoon. The sharp, rugged features of the lower quadrant show the texture and celebrate the joys of chromatic aberrations while the flatter upper right shows the full moon in it's natural state: washed out and flat due to direct sunlight that doesn't cast significant shadows for contrast.
