The waning moon, which is 28.5 days old and illuminated by 1.3%, is very thin. A single photo of the moon looks like a thin golden arc. But if you line up the slowly rising waning moons together, you will find that the pits on the surface of the moon have been strengthened and become more obvious! Because the sun does not shine on the crater, the dark line in the picture is the crater on the left side of the lunar surface. These dark lines of varying thickness also show the size of the pothole. In this photo I have lined up a total of 15 consecutive moon shots with about 4 seconds between each moon. Every time I see pictures like this, they are not only beautiful, they are always amazing.
