For the first time in nearly two weeks, the morning sky was clear. Since it probably won't happen again this month, I drove about 550 metres from home for this clear view all the way to the horizon to capture the alignment of all the visible planets in the order of their position in the Solar System in the morning sky. As soon as I got set up, the batteries in my star tracker died, and I didn't have any spares with me. So, I packed up, drove back home, got lots of spare batteries, and returned to my chosen location. I tried to capture all the planets in a single shot, but Saturn and Mercury were separated by 98°, which is just a little too far apart for my 11mm lens. So I present the scene using two shots merged together.
